NORWALK, Conn. – There’s a long weekend coming – Memorial Day weekend – and a great way to start it off and go kick off summer is with the Nancy on Norwalk Casual Jazz Party.
The music and merriment begins at 7 p.m. Friday, May 22, at the Hilton Garden Inn at 560 Main Ave. Mike Camacho & Friends will play live from 7 to 10 p.m., with complimentary food and a cash bar available.
Also available: Nancy, Mark and Eric Chapman, the faces behind the names on NoN, along with a collection of Norwalk movers and shakers with whom you can rub elbows, chat and bat around ideas to make Norwalk a better place.
NoN needs your support. It’s been more than three months since the last event, and things have been a bit lean, especially in the green department. Free and independent watchdog journalism doesn’t just happen – it takes work, and lots of it, more than 100 hours (combined) a week.
If you are reading this, you are an NoN reader, whether occasional, frequent or regular. Our analytics programs tell us you have a lot of company – depending on the month, anywhere between 7,000 and 11,000 different people. If you want NoN to survive, it needs your help.
So stop by and enjoy the food and the atmosphere provided by Hilton Garden Inn, the music (donated) the people! Suggested donation is $25 per person.
Remember, with local election campaigns getting ready to start, it’s not just the summer that’s going to get hot! Don’t get stuck with just one source for your news and information.
