Letter to the Editor: Support for Stephanie Thomas

I support Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas because I believe every eligible voter should have a fair and meaningful opportunity to participate in our democracy.

Lately, there seems to be a growing effort to make voting more difficult, particularly for people in marginalized communities who may already face barriers to participation. That concerns me deeply.

Our democracy is strongest when every eligible voter can cast a ballot without unnecessary obstacles or intimidation.
I appreciate Secretary Thomas’s commitment to protecting voting access and ensuring that Connecticut’s elections remain fair, secure, and accessible.

At a time when confidence in our democratic process matters more than ever, I believe we need leaders who will stand up for the fundamental right to vote.

That is why I support Stephanie Thomas, one of our own Norwalk neighbors, and the work she is doing for Connecticut voters.

I know only my own experience…I’ve voted 35 times in Norwalk. I bet I’ve spent a grand total of 90 minutes over those 35 years voting.
What is so difficult about that?
While we’re on the subject of voting, I would hope Stephanie Thomas is calling for Prison Sentences for Bridgeport Ballot Stuffers…
