HARTFORD, Conn. – Gov. Dannel P. Malloy nominated three men and one woman to the Superior Court bench Tuesday.
His first judicial nominations of his second term include Alice Bruno of New Britain, John Farley of West Hartford, Gerald Harmon of Southington, and Edward Krumeich II of Greenwich.
There are currently 14 vacancies and Malloy does not intend to fill them all, but vetting judicial nominations is a job he takes very seriously.
“The smart selections we make for the court today will help deliver a brighter Connecticut tomorrow,” Malloy said in a press release. “Selecting qualified, diverse nominees is not an easy task — we do it exceptionally carefully because these decisions impact our future, and we’re working to build a Connecticut for the long-run, for everyone.”
