NORWALK, Conn. – Mayor Harry Rilling turned up the heat for Friday night’s scheduled FCIAC Boys Basketball Championship game between No. 3-ranked Norwalk and No. 1-ranked West Hill high schools.

Rilling has challenged Stamford Mayor Martin to bragging rights and more: The losing mayor will take the winning mayor to lunch – along with the entire winning team – while the losing and paying mayor wears a high school shirt from the winning team.

The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. at Fairfield-Warde High in Fairfield.

Rilling was in the stands Wednesday for Norwalk High’s 69-56 win over No. 7 Wilton and will be on hand to cheer on his alma mater Friday night.

I’ve always been impressed with the pictures that accompany your articles. I know Nancy does a lot of the picture taking herself, but others don’t identify the source such as the one for this article and also the pictures for your contribution requests. They’re all very good and accompany the articles very well. Can you reveal the source ?

The basketball picture, and many other non-attributed shots, are stock photos from a source called Dollar Photo Club. The last contribution request art came from that source as well. The photos with state stories come from CT News Junkie, and, often, the formal political mugs are provided by the pols. We appreciate your comments about Nancy’s photos, and we do like the stock art, especially because of the price — a bargain compared to many other sources.
