Letter from the Editor: Excited to Bring You Tonight’s Common Council Forum

Tonight, Norwalk residents will once again have the chance to hear directly from the people who want to represent them. As Managing Editor of NancyOnNorwalk, I’m excited that we are a media sponsor of this year’s candidate forums, in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Norwalk and Norwalk ACTS.

The Common Council at-large and in-district candidate forum will take place tonight, Monday, Oct. 6, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Nathan Hale Middle School, 176 Strawberry Hill Avenue. Candidates will share their platforms and answer questions from the community. The event is free and open to everyone.

I know how packed the room was during the Democratic Primary mayoral debate earlier this year, and I hope this forum draws the same energy and interest. These events are an opportunity not just to learn about the candidates, but to be part of the civic conversation shaping Norwalk’s future.

I hope you’ll join us tonight and take part in what promises to be another lively and meaningful forum.
