Duff names Senate majority leader’s staff

HARTFORD, Conn. – State Sen. Bob Duff (D-Norwalk), the incoming Senate majority leader, announced the appointment of three key positions on his staff.

•  Darcy Jones will be the Counsel to the Majority Leader. Darcy has seven years of experience at the Capitol, with the last two as a caucus attorney for the Senate Democrats.

• Ken Saccente will be a Special Assistant to the Majority Leader. Ken currently serves as a member of the policy team with the House Democrats. He has 13 years of experience at the Capitol serving in many capacities.
• Dean O’Brien will be the Executive Assistant to the Majority Leader, and has worked with Senator Duff since his first election to the General Assembly. He will continue to concentrate on constituent case work, scheduling and assistance on session days in the Senate.
