Affordable Housing Fair to Offer Resources for Norwalk Residents

NORWALK, Conn. — Residents seeking answers about affordable housing, landlord issues, or down payment assistance can attend an informational fair hosted at Norwalk City Hall on Thursday, May 22.

The Affordable Housing Informational Fair will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in Community Room 128 at City Hall, 125 East Avenue. The event is free and open to the public.

Organizers say the fair will connect attendees with agencies offering support for common housing-related challenges, including qualifying for affordable housing, understanding income limits, and navigating the homebuying process.

Representatives from local organizations will be on hand to share resources, answer questions, and assist community members in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. Participating agencies include Building Neighborhoods Together, Open Doors, the Norwalk Housing Authority, Malta House, The Housing Collective, HDF, and more.

For more information, residents can contact mandrzejewski@norwalkct.gov or visit the City of Norwalk’s community services website at norwalkct.gov/1898/Community-Services.
