There are only a few days left in this year’s NewsMatch campaign, and we are so close to meeting our goal of $75,000, with just over $67,000 already raised. But we need your help to get across the finish line by midnight on New Year’s Eve.
As an independent news organization, we don’t have any shareholders. We aren’t owned by a large corporate entity looking to maximize profit. You know us – we are scrappy and we go after the hyperlocal news you won’t find elsewhere. Whether it’s in-depth coverage of local elections, or regular reporting on Common Council meetings, you can count on us to keep you informed.
But we also operate on a shoestring, with one full-time reporter and a handful of freelancers and volunteers. This means that we rely on you to support our work.
