NORWALK, Conn. — The Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2025 Chamber Golf Classic on Monday, June 23, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Silvermine Golf Club, 95 North Seir Hill Rd.
“It’s a great way to network and build relationships out on the course while enjoying the beautiful Silvermine Golf Club,” said Chamber President and CEO Shannon O’Toole Giandurco. “This event will also help further support the programming for the chamber for the coming year.”
Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to register as soon as possible. The cost, which includes a BBQ lunch before golf as well as a buffet dinner following 18 holes on the links, is $400 per golfer or $1,600 for a foursome.
“Last year, we had about 75-80 golfers, so we are hoping for the same number this year, but we have room for more,” said O’Toole Giandurco.
Prizes will be awarded to the golfer who is closest to the pin and has the longest drive.
“We will also have music and some giveaways from WEBE 108,” said O’Toole Giandurco.
The event will also feature a raffle with “exciting prizes,” including “some foursomes for local golf courses,” said O’Toole Giandurco.
The Golf Performance Center will also be on site, providing a pair of complimentary services.
“This year, we are working with the Golf Performance Center, and they’re going to be there with their Trackman system, which analyzes your swing,” said O’Toole Giandurco.
“And they will also be doing some custom stamping on clubs,” she added. “We have never had something like that before; this is the first time working with them, so we are excited to do that. And also, it’s exciting to have some specific golf perks for our golfers joining us on that day.”
O’Toole Giandurco said the golf tournament is one of the chamber’s biggest fundraisers of the year.
“We have started offering some free seminars to our members, and this will help support those efforts,” she explained, adding that one of those seminars focused on artificial intelligence. “Events like this help support those efforts.”
The chamber president and CEO described the golf tournament as “a really fun day” that’s “more of a social” event.
She also described Silvermine Golf Club as “a great partner,” adding, “We have held [the tournament] with them the last several years now, and we really like working with Silvermine—they do a beautiful job.”
Anyone interested in participating in the tournament may sign up by visiting here.
A dinner-only option is also available to anyone interested.
“They can reach out, and we would absolutely accommodate them,” said O’Toole Giandurco, for anyone interested in dinner only.
