NORWALK, Conn. — Voters across Norwalk headed to the polls on Tuesday to cast ballots in two closely watched primaries, one for governor and one for a seat in Congress.
Gov. Ned Lamont is running for a third term. He faces a challenge from state Rep. Josh Elliott of Hamden, a progressive Democrat who has pushed back on Lamont’s record on taxes and utility costs.
On the Republican side, two candidates are competing in the 4th Congressional District primary: Michael Ted Goldstein and Daniel Miressi. The winner will face Jim Himes in November.
Polls closed at 8 p.m. Results will be updated below as they come in.
